Habitat for Humanity – Martin Luther King Jr Day of Service & Sharing

Monday, January 16th, will be a special one for the Habitat for Humanity of Greater Lowell and the Barbieri Family.

As we as a nation celebrate Martin Luther King Jr Day, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Lowell will host a Celebration of Dr King and a Day of Service and Sharing as they welcome the Barbieri Family to the Carter Way neighborhood in Bedford.

The Barbieri family moved in just in time for the holidays.  Come show your support to  our latest homeowner.  Dedication will start at 10am.

As Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. once said, “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is: ‘What are you doing for others?'”

This year, in honor of this special day, the Interfaith Committee will be holding its first Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service and Sharing.  The day will begin with a build team at 8:00 on Carter Way, Bedford.  At 10am we will hold a home dedication for our newest family at 3 Carter Way.

The Barbieri Family will be welcomed into the neighborhood.  This will be followed by a house tour, luncheon, presentation and roundtable discussion at St Paul’s Episcopal Church in Bedford.
